I like artwork which makes you think. Be it rethinking your cell-phone as a recording device, picking yourself up by your bootstraps or squeezing out a portrait by making you balance on a see-saw, I'll use any combination of materials and techniques to get the idea across.

conversation piece is about non-verbal communication, the extensive queues we humans can pick up from another's facial expressions. Also under investigation are issues of synchronization and sympathy. The pairs who participate in the project share a primal task, one which we rarely have cause to think about, balance.

Trash seems to have a life of its own always growing, gathering seemingly from nowhere, always in the most unexpected places, unless you live in New York I guess then you expect trash to be everywhere, one of those unavoidable companions to your life in a big dirty city.
